Deck overview

Bartolomé del Presidio leads an Orzhov aristocrats deck built around sacrificing creatures, growing the commander, and draining opponents with Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Bastion of Remembrance, Marionette Apprentice, and The Meathook Massacre. The graveyard package uses self-mill from Stitcher's Supplier, Undead Butler, Crow of Dark Tidings, and similar creatures, then reuses permanents with Sun Titan, Dread Return, Unburial Rites, and several death-trigger auras. The deck can assemble a functional value board around turn 5 and a more threatening engine around turn 8. Its main limitation is that Bartolomé del Presidio only converts sacrifices into counters; it does not refund mana, draw cards, or create creatures. Because no repeatable loop reliably recreates fodder and recursion, the deck applies attrition rather than presenting a compact table kill. It is a solid casual synergy deck, but its pressure and interaction are too slow for competitive Commander.
