Deck overview

This deck is a Dragon Tribal Stompy archetype commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells by one mana from turn zero. The early game focuses on accelerating mana through 2-drop ramp spells and mana rocks, establishing a strong multi-color foundation. By Turn 4, the deck transitions into deploying value engines and mid-curve dragons. On Turn 5, it presents must-answer flying threats like Atarka, World Render, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, or Hellkite Courser, delivering double strike and massive aerial damage. Card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Up the Beanstalk keep resources flowing, while Patriarch's Bidding and Bladewing the Risen provide rapid graveyard recovery. The deck finishes games through overwhelming combat damage across two response cycles, supported by asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate that clear opposing boards while keeping Dragons untouched.
