Deck overview

This deck utilizes Kudo, King Among Bears to set all other creatures on the battlefield to base power and toughness 2/2. This ability immediately shrinks opposing behemoths and standardizes the combat math across the table. The deck breaks parity through an abundance of static anthems, +1/+1 counter engines, and mass pump spells. It floods the board with cheap token makers like Hop to It and Battle Screech, turning 1/1 tokens into 2/2 Bears that rapidly scale into 3/3s or larger via cards like Anthem of Champions and Beastmaster Ascension. Ayula, Queen Among Bears turns every entering creature into an immediate fight trigger to control opposing boards. High-density protection spells like Flawless Maneuver defend the wide board against destroy sweepers as the deck closes out the game over two combat rotations.
