Deck overview

This deck is an aggro-stompy list helmed by Kaalia of the Vast, aiming to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The deck relies on Kaalia's attack trigger to bypass the hefty mana costs of format-warping bombs such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Master of Cruelties, and Balefire Dragon. However, the deck is constrained by a very low land count of 28 lands with numerous tapped lands and minimal mana rocks, making it heavily dependent on Kaalia resolving and surviving. When left unchecked, Kaalia rapidly builds a lethal flying army that eliminates players across two to three combat steps. If Kaalia is repeatedly countered or removed, the deck struggles to hard-cast its high-mana threats.
