Namor by LJ.FourFoldMaster

Format: Commander

Commander: Namor the Sub-Mariner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Namor the Sub-Mariner is a single-faced commander and the deck's engine/flying finisher: every blue instant or sorcery creates Merfolk tokens and grows his power. The primary plan is a midrange Merfolk go-wide/commander-damage strategy, using lords and anthem effects (Lord of Atlantis, Master of the Pearl Trident, Attuma, Reejerey, Banner of Kinship) to make the token army lethal. A secondary draw-go plan uses counterspells, bounce, and card draw to survive until the board is large. Kindred Discovery and Distant Melody keep the hand full; Deepchannel Mentor and islandwalk supply evasion. Eluge acts as a hidden mana engine in the 99; the only double-faced card besides the commander is the value battle Invasion of Segovia // Caetus. No infinite combo is present.
