Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon tribal engine commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The strategy focuses on accelerating through the early turns using mana rocks, dorks, and tribal cost reducers like Urza's Incubator and Dragonspeaker Shaman to deploy Miirym by Turn 4 or 5. Once Miirym is on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon cast triggers token duplication, generating exponential combat power, treasure generation, and direct burn triggers through cards like Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror to produce infinite hasty flying Dragons. Supported by versatile countermagic and protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention, the deck presents a lethal multi-angle threat that reliably closes games on Turn 7.
