Angels by user9756675

Format: Commander

Commander: Avacyn, Angel of Hope

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mono-white angel-control deck built around Avacyn, Angel of Hope. The primary plan is to ramp to eight mana, put Avacyn into play, then use her indestructibility to turn Wrath variants and Armageddon/Catastrophe into one-sided effects, clearing the board while Avacyn flies in for commander damage. Secondary paths are generic angel beatdown and token production from Court of Grace and Elspeth, with Emeria Shepherd as the main recursion engine. The commander is the deck's asymmetry; there is no double-faced commander or hidden commander. Sejiri Shelter is a modal instant/land that protects Avacyn in a pinch. The rest of the list is removal, draw artifacts, and ramp to ensure the commander can be cast and kept.
