Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Voltron strategy built around Raiyuu, Storm's Edge. It leverages the 'attacks alone' mechanic of Kamigawa Samurai and Warriors to trigger extra combat steps each turn. The game plan focuses on casting low-cost Equipment, deploying Raiyuu on Turn 4, and equipping high-impact damage amplifiers like Colossus Hammer, Two-Handed Axe, or Thran Power Suit. By attacking alone in the first combat, Raiyuu untaps and grants a second combat phase, doubling attack triggers and delivering lethal commander damage to a single opponent as early as Turn 5. Backup extra-combat engines such as Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Moraug, Fury of Akoum maintain pressure if the commander is removed. An infinite combat line exists via Aggravated Assault and The Reaver Cleaver. The deck excels in linear combat output, though it runs limited interaction and lacks tutors for noncreature permanents.
