This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy piloted by Veyran, Voice of Duality. The primary game plan revolves around assembling cost reducers, mana-generating engines like Storm-Kiln Artist or Birgi, God of Storytelling, and card-drawing powerhouses like Archmage Emeritus. Once Veyran is on the battlefield, all magecraft and spell-cast triggers trigger an additional time. This allows damage engines such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Coruscation Mage to melt opposing life totals twice as fast.
