Deck overview

This deck pairs Codie, Ravenous Codex with the Prepare mechanic and Magecraft triggers to build an explosive spellslinger engine. Creatures with prepare spells enter ready to cast a linked instant or sorcery copy, and Codie doubles every prepared spell you cast. This enables powerful turns where a single spell like Emeritus of Woe // Demonic Tutor tutors two key combo pieces into hand. The deck's primary win condition is an infinite storm and Treasure loop using Storm-Kiln Artist and Haze of Rage. Once infinite mana and Magecraft triggers are generated, the deck immediately drains the table using Witherbloom Apprentice, Vivi Ornitier, or a massive Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. While the deck plays at a standard mana curve and features limited proactive disruption, its copied card draw spells and redundant Magecraft payoffs give it strong mid-game inevitability.
