Deck overview

Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor is a mono-blue artifact combo/value deck with a heavy drawing and tutoring core. The primary plan is to assemble Basalt Monolith with Forensic Gadgeteer for infinite colorless mana, then use Urza, Lord High Artificer as the payoff to cast through the library and win with hasted artifact creatures. Lady Octopus is a secondary free-cast engine that lets the deck cheat expensive artifacts when counters accumulate. The interactive suite is mostly counterspells, bounce, and token deterrents. It can also close with Blightsteel Colossus/infect or a wide Cyberdrive animation. Urza acts as the closest thing to a hidden commander.
