Deck overview

This mono-red burn deck is helmed by Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, a God that turns small noncombat damage into a massive threat. The core strategy is to deploy a swarm of pingers and damage-dealing enchantments-like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, Sulfuric Vortex, and Manabarbs-then amplify every 1-2 point trigger to 4 (or more with pump spells) via Ojer's ability. Equipment such as Blackblade Reforged and Strata Scythe boost Ojer's power, scaling the damage even further. The deck finishes opponents through incremental drain, explosive pump turns, or a storm finish with Grapeshot. The back face of the commander, Temple of Power, offers a land that can transform back when enough noncombat damage is dealt, but the primary plan is to keep Ojer on the battlefield.
