Dragon proxies by Maximumheat

Format: Commander

Commander: Ureni of the Unwritten

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ureni of the Unwritten leads a Temur dragon deck built to cheat huge fliers into play. Every Ureni entry or attack digs eight cards and drops a Dragon directly onto the battlefield, while support pieces like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Dragon Tempest, and Atarka, World Render turn that avalanche into immediate damage. The deck can pivot between a combat kill via extra combat (Hellkite Charger and Old Gnawbone) and an infinite ping loop with the two Niv-Mizzets. A dense countermagic suite and free spells protect the board and the commander. Mana acceleration, cost reducers, and a single cheat effect help the plan operate even when Ureni is unavailable.
