Spiderman 2099 by HolyFather

Format: Commander

Commander: Spider-Man 2099

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet deck turns every spell cast from exile or the top of the library into damage. Spider-Man 2099 is a time-locked removal piece and ping engine - he cannot be cast before turn 4, has double strike and vigilance, and deals damage equal to his power at your end step if you played a land or cast a spell from outside your hand. The core engine uses Future Sight, The Reality Chip, Melek, Izzet Paragon and impulse draws like Bonehoard Dracosaur, Urabrask, Heretic Praetor and Valakut Exploration, enabled by flash sources Leyline of Anticipation, Vedalken Orrery and Tidal Barracuda. Nico Minoru, Runaway and Melek act as hidden commanders that convert each exile cast into direct damage or copied value. With no infinite combo, the deck wins by grinding advantage, controlling the stack, and closing with buffed commander combat.
