Deck overview

This deck pairs the card-advantage and tempo engine of Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow with an infinite life-drain combo. By utilizing cheap Ninjas and evasive creatures like Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, Yuriko enters combat early via commander ninjutsu to draw cards and apply global chip damage. While traditional Yuriko decks focus entirely on high-CMC burn spells, this list leverages Yuriko's card flow and cheap blue interaction to dig into a two-card infinite combo: Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Sanguine Bond. Free counterspells such as Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship keep opposing wins at bay while shielding the board. The deck typically assembles its engine on Turn 3 and executes an unpreventable infinite drain finish on Turn 6.
