Deck overview

This Boros deck executes an aggressive Dwarf tribal strategy centered on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. By curving efficient Dwarves and Equipment into early Treasure-generating engines, the deck builds a dense hoard of artifact tokens that Thorin converts into an overwhelming team-wide power boost. Early acceleration from cards like Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Sol Ring, and Talisman of Conviction reliably presents Thorin on Turn 4. The following turn delivers critical pressure through massive combat swings backed by double strike and evasion enablers like Akroma's Will and Reyav, Master Smith. The deck features exceptional resilience against standard creature sweepers because its accumulated Treasure tokens persist through creature wipes, enabling immediate commander recasts. A versatile toolbox accessible through Sunforger and Dwarven Recruiter provides reliable answers and protection, allowing the deck to close games out decisively by Turn 6.
