Deck overview

This Grixis midrange deck is built around Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, leveraging discard synergies, connive triggers, and graveyard recursion. In the early game, the deck establishes unblockable connive triggers to sculpt hand quality and fill the graveyard. On Turn 4, Norman transforms into Green Goblin, granting nonland cards in the graveyard mayhem and reducing their casting costs by {2}. This enables explosive mid-game turns where discarded threats and removal spells are recast at a steep discount. The deck closes games through aggressive combat damage from evasive Marvel Villains like Doc Ock, Sinister Scientist, Ultimate Green Goblin, and Vulture, Scheming Scavenger, while Archfiend of Ifnir keeps opposing boards clear of blockers. While the deck boasts strong card filtering and steady engine recovery, its reliance on permanent-based combat over multiple turns leaves it open to sweepers and graveyard interaction.
