The Arcana Is The Means Which All Is Revealed by Fghjkl

Format: Commander

Commander: Urianger Augurelt

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a W/U control-value deck helmed by Urianger Augurelt, built around a dense untap-engine package that lets you activate his Arcanum ability multiple times per turn cycle. The core loop is simple: tap Urianger to exile the top card, untap him with one of the many untappers (Aphetto Alchemist, Vizier of Tumbling Sands, Ioreth of the Healing House, Drumbellower, Unstoppable Plan), then cast the exiled spells for a {2} discount while gaining life from his first ability. The deck's primary win condition is Aetherflux Reservoir, which converts the massive life gain and spell-casting volume into a 50-life snipe. Secondary paths include combat beats from a growing board of utility creatures and the Cleric Class recursion engine. The deck plays a patient, grindy game, using pillowfort pieces like Propaganda and Ghostly Prison to buy time while assembling its engine.
