Deck overview

This Gruul deck is led by Raggadragga, Goreguts Boss, turning low-cost mana creatures into offensive threats and massive mana generators. The game plan revolves around casting mana dorks on Turns 1 and 2, deploying Raggadragga on Turn 3, and leveraging the untap-on-attack trigger to produce large pools of mana during combat. By Turn 5, this mana velocity fuels 7+ mana spells like Desolation Twin, End-Raze Forerunners, and Overwhelming Stampede, which trigger Raggadragga to grant +7/+7 and trample to close out the game through combat. The deck features extreme redundancy in mana acceleration and large beaters, giving it strong natural resiliency against targeted removal. However, its dependence on an exposed creature board leaves it vulnerable to board wipes, and a lack of countermagic and tutors limits its interaction against fast combo decks.
