Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis wheels and group slug engine commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. It converts symmetrical card draw into lethal asymmetric burn. The deck accelerates through cheap mana rocks and rituals into a Turn 4 draw-punisher like Nekusar, the Mindrazer, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, or Underworld Dreams. Once a punisher is active, the deck casts mass wheel effects such as Windfall, Dark Deal, and Whispering Madness to deal large bursts of damage across the table while stripping opponent hands. High-yield engines like Waste Not generate surplus mana and board presence from opponent discards to chain multiple wheels in a single turn. Defensively, the list runs premium free protection including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will alongside Slip Out the Back to safeguard key engines. A compact two-card infinite combo of Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank provides an independent kill route if combat or wheel damage is restricted.
