Deck overview

Jaws, Relentless Predator leads a mono-red artifact burn and midrange strategy centered on leveraging combat damage to generate mass Blood and Treasure tokens, transforming every noncreature artifact sacrifice or destruction into table-wide direct damage. The deck accelerates through 2-to-3 CMC mana rocks and utility engines, landing Jaws reliably on Turn 4 or 5. Because Jaws enters with native haste and trample, it immediately threatens life totals, connects to spawn 5 Blood tokens, and arms its ping ability without delay. Synergies with Crime Novelist, Academy Manufactor, Reckless Fireweaver, and damage doublers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus turn routine card looting and mana generation into lethal bursts. Opponents face escalating pressure from asymmetric board wipes such as Vandalblast and Meltdown, which simultaneously clear opposing defenses and trigger mass artifact pings. Supported by robust equipment protection and alternative win conditions like Hellkite Tyrant, the deck maintains steady pressure across midgame turn cycles.
