Deck overview

This Sultai Elf tribal deck, helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking, leverages a dense core of mana-dork Elves to accelerate into a variety of infinite-mana combos and combat overruns. The commander's ability to gain all activated abilities from Elf cards in the graveyard turns it into a flexible toolbox, while the "whenever another legendary Elf enters, draw two, then discard one" trigger provides consistent card advantage. The primary win path involves generating infinite green mana via Devoted Druid plus an untap effect (Wirewood Lodge, Staff of Domination, or Thousand-Year Elixir), then converting that mana into a lethal Finale of Devastation or a deck-drawing Staff of Domination loop. Backup plans include a massive Craterhoof Behemoth swing, Lathril, Blade of the Elves' drain ability, and mass reanimation via Bloodline Bidding. The deck is resilient, well-tutored, and can grind through disruption with its high creature count and recursion.
