Black Mage Banquet by Frownbear

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger builds a board of pinging Wizards and then chains noncreature spells to drain the table. Kuja, Genome Sorcerer creates a 0/1 Wizard each end step and flips into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied to double all Wizard damage after you control four Wizards. Redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Black Waltz No. 3, Coruscation Mage and tokens from Queen Brahne, Vivi's Persistence and Lindblum provide the damage engine, while Solphim, City on Fire, Collective Inferno and Quest for Pure Flame double or triple it. Harmonic Prodigy doubles triggers, cost reducers and rituals fuel storm turns, and Underworld Breach offers a late-game rebuild.
