Descent into Power by Kranitoko

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain Howler, Sea Scourge

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Captain Howler, Sea Scourge commands an aggressive Izzet deck centered on weaponizing discard outlets and looting effects. The deck deploys evasive attackers, such as Invisible Stalker and Ant-Man, Elusive Avenger, then uses cheap rummage spells to trigger Captain Howler. Each discarded card pumps an attacking creature and draws cards on combat damage, creating an explosive cycle of velocity and aggression. In addition to commander damage, the deck closes games through multiple combat phases from Raphael, Tag Team Tough and Full Throttle, swarm tokens from Living Laser, and sweeping direct damage from Chandra's Ignition or Magmakin Artillerist.
