Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is led by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider, blending impulse draw ('play from exile') with +1/+1 counters and modified creature synergies. Early turns focus on deploying Gwen Stacy, establishing mana fixing, and casting synergistic supporting heroes. On Turn 5, Gwen transforms into Ghost-Spider, turning every card played from exile into counter growth that can be removed to dig further into the library. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 6 by pairing Ghost-Spider with heavy exile payoffs like Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Iraxxa, Empress of Mars, and Akki Battle Squad. Interaction is highlighted by premier white spot removal and asymmetric sweepers such as Urza's Ruinous Blast. Without relying on infinite combos or fast-mana acceleration, the list leverages compounding combat damage and direct paradoxical burn to close games reliably by Turn 8.
