Deck overview

This mono-blue tempo deck pairs evasive, unblockable creatures with Fblthp, Impossibly Lost to draw steady card advantage every combat step. By curving small saboteurs like Blighted Agent, Bilbo, Luckwearer, and Benthic Infiltrator into Fblthp, the deck builds early velocity without needing fast mana rocks. It uses combat draw engines like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Enduring Curiosity to dig aggressively through the library. While drawing cards, it holds up efficient counterspells such as Counterspell, Negate, and Arcane Denial to protect its board and disrupt critical opposing spells. The end game transitions into instant empty-library victories using Leveler or Thought Lash, which trigger Fblthp's alternate win clause upon combat damage. Secondary lines include Laboratory Maniac, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, Twenty-Toed Toad, and an infinite draw loop with Mind Over Matter and Arcanis the Omnipotent.
