Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-red spellslinger strategy commanded by The Scarlet Witch, designed to cheat mana costs on powerful high-CMC instants and sorceries. The game plan centers on casting the commander on Turn 3, turning her power into a persistent casting discount for spells with mana value 4 or greater. This discount supercharges explosive spells like Into the Time Vortex, Hit the Mother Lode, and Big Score, allowing the deck to outpace opponents in mana efficiency. Mana engines such as Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, and Mana Geyser provide the fuel needed to storm through the library with cascade, discover, and impulse card draw. The primary win condition is an explosive Turn 5 finish that terminates the entire table simultaneously using massive burn spells like Crackle with Power, an infinite copy loop with Mana Geyser and Reiterate, or mass creature theft via Insurrection. Redirection spells protect key closing windows.
