Deck overview

This deck is an optimized 4-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on deploying inexpensive token producers on the opening turns, then accelerating into Jace or a Polymorph effect by Turn 4. Using Jace's −3 loyalty ability, the deck sacrifices a disposable token to flip directly into one of eleven catastrophic haymakers: Phyrexian Praetors (Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite), game-ending Horrors (Hullbreaker Horror, Toxrill, the Corrosive), Elder Demons (Valgavoth, Terror Eater), or high-loyalty Planeswalkers (Ugin, the Spirit Dragon). Once cheated into play on Turn 4, these threats establish an immediate asymmetric lock on opposing resources, clearing creature boards, countering key spells, and emptying hands. The deck then uses a robust suite of efficient 1-2 mana interaction to protect its board state while closing out the table with lethal combat damage from massive evasive threats and token swarms by Turn 7.
