Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats and Blink strategy commanded by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar. It unique synergy bridges traditional sacrifice mechanics with temporary exile effects, as Syr Vondam grows and gains life whenever another creature dies or enters exile. The deck curves low-cost value creatures like Wall of Omens and Doomed Traveler into sacrifice outlets like Woe Strider and drain permanents like Blood Artist and Bastion of Remembrance. It utilizes blink spells like Ephemerate and Eerie Interlude both to dodge removal and trigger Syr Vondam repeatedly. Mid-to-late game power turns leverage mass recursion via Living Death and Sun Titan or explosive devotion bursts from Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While lacking fast infinite combos or direct tutors, the list achieves high resilience and steady table-wide life drain through deep functional redundancy and layered interaction.
