Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats build commanded by Arnyn, Deathbloom Botanist. The strategy focuses on sacrificing low-power creatures to trigger Arnyn's life-drain ability alongside redundant drain engines like Bastion of Remembrance and Blood Artist. It produces consistent sacrifice fodder using token makers like Ophiomancer, Blight Mound, and Dreadhorde Invasion, as well as recurring skeletons like Reassembling Skeleton and Persistent Specimen. Sacrificing these creatures fuels draw spells (Deadly Dispute, Village Rites, Skullclamp) and powers repeatable creature removal through edicts like Accursed Marauder and Demon's Disciple. While the deck controls creature-heavy battlefields and drains life totals reliably, its clock requires multiple turn cycles without infinite combos. It remains vulnerable to board wipes, graveyard hate, and noncreature combo strategies.
