Anhelo, Aggressive Sluggers! by Isanx

Format: Commander

Commander: Anhelo, the Painter

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis deck wins by assembling multiple 0/1 Wizard tokens that deal 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, then doubling that damage with amplifiers. Anhelo, the Painter is a value engine, not a combo piece: his casualty 2 copies your first instant or sorcery each turn when you sacrifice a power-2+ creature, turning cheap draw and interaction into extra triggers. Kuja, Genome Sorcerer is the hidden commander; once transformed he doubles all Wizard damage and defines the build. Secondary paths use firebending Soldiers, Field of the Dead Zombies, and Rankle and Torbran to pressure life totals through combat when the ping plan is disrupted.
