Deck overview

This is a Mardu Soldier-token aristocrats deck helmed by Caesar, Legion's Emperor. The core loop is simple and brutal: attack with Caesar, sacrifice a token, and choose two of three modes - create two hasty 1/1 Soldiers tapped and attacking, draw a card at the cost of 1 life, or have Caesar deal damage equal to your token count to an opponent. The deck floods the board with Soldier tokens from engines like Assemble the Legion, Captain of the Watch, and Secure the Wastes, then converts those bodies into value through aristocrat payoffs such as Pitiless Plunderer, Bastion of Remembrance, and Impact Tremors. The primary win is a wide, anthem-buffed combat swing (Fervent Charge, Intangible Virtue) backed by incidental drain from death triggers. Secondary lines include Ruinous Ultimatum to clear the board and Stolen Strategy for card advantage. It's a midrange go-wide deck that wins through incremental token generation and combat inevitability rather than fast combos.
