This Sultai poison deck plays a gradual early game while the commander, Volrath, the Shapestealer, acts as a flexible copy threat. It puts 1-3 poison counters on every opponent through Toxic/Infect creatures and spells like Prologue to Phyresis, then converts those counters into an instant win by chaining proliferate effects. Inexorable Tide, Tekuthal, and Evolution Sage are the core engines; when one is online, a large Expansion Algorithm, repeated Contagion Engine activations, or Vraska's ultimate leaps opponents from a handful of counters to ten. Secondary lines lean on Blighted Agent or Skithiryx with equipment, or Triumph of the Hordes to swing for lethal infect.
