Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie deck blends graveyard recursion, tribal synergy, and aristocrat drain engines. Commanded by Gisa and Geralf, it consistently stocks the graveyard with self-mill effects like Stitcher's Supplier and Undead Butler, turning the graveyard into an accessible extension of the hand. Once an engine is established with card-draw engines like Undead Augur or token generators like Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, the deck applies incremental board pressure while controlling creature boards through recurring sacrifice triggers like Ravenous Rotbelly. Victory is attained either through massive life drain via Gray Merchant of Asphodel or looping Gravecrawler with aristocrat outlets such as Bastion of Remembrance and Diregraf Captain. While highly resilient to conventional single-target removal, the deck's reliance on the graveyard and its modest suite of instant-speed countermagic leave it vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and rapid spell-based combos.
