Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a Grixis spellslinger deck built around attacking with its commander to copy every instant and sorcery it casts. The primary plan is to assemble Storm-Kiln Artist plus Narset's Reversal and a burn spell while Azula is attacking, creating a mana-positive loop that deals infinite damage. A secondary path uses pump spells and equipment to make Azula a one-shot commander-damage threat with trample. The deck is dense with cantrips, looting, and counterspells to find and protect the combo, but it has only one tutor and no true hidden commander; Ashling, Flame Dancer and Gandalf the Grey are supporting engines.
