Format: Commander

Commander: Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Phyrexian tribal token deck led by Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos. The plan is to cast Phyrexian creatures and artifact creatures to create Incubator tokens with Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos, then transform them into Phyrexian bodies and grow the board with proliferate. You win through wide combat, not infinite combos. Anthems and doublers such as Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Etchings of the Chosen, and the Splicers turn many small tokens into lethal attackers, while Massacre Wurm and Scheming Aspirant add drain reach. Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos matters for value but is not a combo piece. He costs four mana and you can recast him, and the deck still makes tokens without him through Master Splicer, Blade Splicer, Darksteel Splicer, White Sun's Twilight, and other Phyrexian generators.
