Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spellslinger combo engine commanded by Papalymo Totolymo, designed to convert cheap noncreature spells into table-wide burn, steady lifegain, and explosive storm turns. The early game establishes mana acceleration through efficient artifacts and utility creatures like Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff and Esper Sentinel. Once Papalymo is on the battlefield, low-mana cantrips, free interaction spells, and lifegain payoffs whittle down opponent life totals while padding your own life total. The primary win condition centers on resolving Bolas's Citadel on Turn 6 to cast spells directly from the library. Paired with Sensei's Divining Top, Papalymo's drain trigger negates the life payment from Citadel, creating an infinite damage loop that finishes all three opponents in a single turn. The deck is reinforced by an efficient suite of 1-mana protection spells like Silence and Rebuff the Wicked, ensuring resilient combo execution.
