Commander: Reyhan, Last of the Abzan and Kraum, Ludevic's Opus

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a four-color (sans-white) partner deck built around +1/+1 counters, sacrifice, and recursion. Reyhan, Last of the Abzan turns every dying counter creature into an insurance policy, while Kraum, Ludevic's Opus supplies a hasty flyer and passive card draw from the command zone. The core plan is to establish a counter engine like Hardened Scales, Loading Zone, or The Ozolith, profit when creatures die, recur them through Marchesa, the Black Rose or Alesha, Who Laughs at Fate, and close with an overwhelming modified board. Primary finishers are combat damage, Uncivil Unrest doubling damage, and the burst pair of Walking Ballista plus All Will Be One. Korvold, Fae-Cursed King and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician serve as hidden value engines, and Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes provides sacrifice reach.
