Commander: Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might // Temple of Power

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red noncombat damage amplification deck helmed by Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. The core plan floods the board with cheap "ping" permanents-ETB damage creatures, spell-trigger archers, and punishing enchantments-then uses Ojer's replacement effect to turn every 1-damage red source into damage equal to his power (baseline 4). Secondary pressure comes from a dense package of tax and pain enchantments (Manabarbs, Spellshock, Roiling Vortex, Sulfuric Vortex) that both disrupt opponents and feed the same amplification engine. Equipment and auras (Lightning Greaves, Darksteel Plate, Draconic Destiny, Blackblade Reforged) keep Ojer online and scale his power, while Neheb, the Eternal and Mana Geyser convert life loss into explosive red mana for finishing bursts. The deck wins by grinding the table out with repeated amplified pings rather than a single infinite combo, though one registered line exists. Ojer's death trigger turning him into Temple of Power gives the command zone unusual staying power.
