Angels by Encaglion

Format: Commander

Commander: Seluma, Light of Aysen

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Angel tribal midrange deck helmed by Seluma, Light of Aysen, leveraging her rulebreaker ability to run Angels of every color alongside any basics. The plan develops a wide, evasive board of Angels supported by life-gain payoffs, tribal anthems, and cost reducers, then closes through combat. Seluma, Light of Aysen herself provides incremental recursion by returning Angels from the graveyard whenever she connects. Primary wins come from overwhelming airborne damage amplified by Aurelia, the Warleader, True Conviction, and counter engines such as Archangel of Thune and Cathars' Crusade. Secondary axes include soft locks via Herald of Eternal Dawn and Myrel, Shield of Argive, plus resilient indestructible boards anchored by Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Sephara, Sky's Blade. The deck plays as a classic value-combat pile that grinds favorably once the Angel density comes online.
