Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white self-harm token strategy led by Darien, King of Kjeldor. The primary game plan turns personal life loss into board presence: whenever you take damage, Darien generates 1/1 Soldier tokens, while 'Soul Sister' effects like Soul Warden and Ajani's Welcome immediately recoup the lost life. Symmetrical damage artifacts such as Ankh of Mishra, Barbed Wire, and Angel's Trumpet become one-sided token factories that flood the battlefield each turn cycle. Once the board is established, mass anthems including Cathars' Crusade, Intangible Virtue, and Divine Visitation scale the army into a lethal threat, while Aetherflux Reservoir provides an alternate burst finish. The deck excels at defensive ground stall and passive token accumulation, but is heavily commander-dependent and vulnerable to well-timed removal on Darien.
