Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Zo-Zu the Punisher and executes a ruthless resource-denial strategy. It ramps into play during the early turns using mana rocks, deploys Zo-Zu the Punisher on Turn 3, and layers continuous land-punishment effects such as Ankh of Mishra and Manabarbs. On Turns 4 through 6, the deck resolves mass land destruction spells like Wildfire, Keldon Firebombers, and Ruination, stripping opponents of their mana base while breaking parity with surviving mana rocks and Crucible of Worlds.
