This Dimir deck pairs a competitive combo shell with a synergistic Lord of the Rings tribal package. The primary game plan seeks to quickly accelerate mana, tutor for Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, and execute an instant-speed win as early as Turn 3. When executing this line, Demonic Consultation exiles the library in response to Thassa's Oracle's enters-the-battlefield ability, winning immediately. If the combo is disrupted or delayed, the deck transitions into a potent spellslinger midrange strategy led by Lord of the Nazgûl. Casting cheap instants, sorceries, and Nazgûl creatures produces an evasive army of 3/3 menace Wraiths that quickly grow into 9/9 attackers.
