Deck overview

This deck leverages Sonic the Hedgehog as an aggressive, haste-enabled commander in Jeskai colors that converts combat aggression and damage steps into board buffs and Treasure production. The operational plan centers on deploying efficient equipment tutors during the opening turns to fetch powerful tools such as Sunforger, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Grafted Exoskeleton. Sonic hits the battlefield on Turn 4, attacking immediately to place +1/+1 counters on haste and flash creatures. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset by using Sunforger to fetch decisive combat finishers like Akroma's Will or by connecting with double-strike commander damage. The list supports its aggressive game plan with an interactive toolbox featuring free interaction such as Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver, backed by secondary equipment drivers including Amy Rose and Captain America, First Avenger. It reliably finishes the game across two subsequent combat rounds by Turn 7.
