riku rides the lightning by Danielson81

Format: Commander

Commander: Riku of Two Reflections

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a three-color Energy/combo deck built to multiply enters-the-battlefield and instant/sorcery triggers with Riku of Two Reflections. The primary plan is to ramp into Riku, copy energy producers such as Rogue Refiner and Aethertorch Renegade to bank energy, then close with the hidden finisher Aetherwind Basker plus Lightning Runner extra-combat loop, pumping Basker with trample. Secondary paths use Doubling Season/Parallel Lives/Primal Vigor and Helm of the Host to flood creatures, or Aetherworks Marvel/Gonti's Aether Heart to convert energy into free spells and extra turns. Riku is the value engine; the energy package can operate without him, but his copy trigger is what makes the deck fast enough to win.
