Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur spellslinger and combo list commanded by Kalamax, the Stormsire. The game plan accelerates mana on early turns to deploy Kalamax ahead of curve, then transitions into an instant-speed control and value engine. By ensuring Kalamax is tapped through combat or utility artifacts like Honor-Worn Shaku, the deck duplicates the first instant cast each turn, extracting double value from draw spells, removal, and countermagic. The primary win condition leverages copy spells such as Expansion // Explosion, Increasing Vengeance, or Return the Favor to initiate an infinite copy loop targeting another spell on the stack. Each copy trigger places a +1/+1 counter on Kalamax, generating arbitrarily large power. The deck converts this mass into an immediate table kill via Chandra's Ignition or draws the deck with Return of the Wildspeaker. Robust protection spells and efficient interaction ensure high resilience throughout execution.
