Deck overview

This deck is a specialized spellslinger combo strategy piloted by Codie, Vociferous Codex. By packing 21 copies of Dragon's Approach, the deck maximizes functional redundancy and burn output. On Turn 3, Codie enters the battlefield. On Turn 4, Codie activates for four mana to add five colors and cascade any one-mana spell into powerful 0-mana suspend cards like Profane Tutor, Ancestral Vision, or Wheel of Fate. Untap spells like Cerulean Wisps and Shore Up let Codie activate multiple times in a single turn, generating massive mana and storm counts. Once Niv-Mizzet, Visionary hits the board, each Dragon's Approach deals 3 damage to each opponent and draws 9 cards, fueling an uninterrupted storm turn. The game finishes on Turn 4 as Terror of the Peaks, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and repeated burn spells incinerate all three opponents simultaneously.
