Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a Wizard-spellslinger value engine that plans to turn instants and sorceries into damage, cards, and mana, then end the game on one explosive burn turn. The commander, Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, is the draw engine: the front side forces each opponent to discard and then refills your hand based on the card types discarded, while the back side's "draw on opponent life loss" turns a burn chain into an even longer chain. The 8-mana transform is a late-game mana sink and edict effect rather than the main plan. The typical kill uses Fiery Emancipation, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, or flipped Trance Kuja, Fate Defied to multiply the pings from Guttersnipe, Harmonic Prodigy, and Vivi Ornitier, then finishes with Grapeshot, an uncounterable Banefire, or Repeated Reverberation copying Jaya's Immolating Inferno. There are no infinite combos; the deck instead wins through a critical-mass chain of cheap burn and draw.
