Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a classic Nekusar, the Mindrazer "group slug" deck built around a single, elegant engine: force opponents to draw cards, then punish them for every single one. The deck layers symmetrical draw effects like Howling Mine, Font of Mythos, and Kami of the Crescent Moon with damage amplifiers such as Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, and Orcish Bowmasters to convert each draw into life loss. The secondary plan is a wheel package - Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Reforge the Soul - that refills hands while triggering every punishment effect at once, often for lethal. A tertiary discard subtheme with Waste Not and Tergrid, God of Fright generates value and board presence from the forced discards. The deck is a pure inevitability engine: it doesn't need to attack, it just needs the game to continue while the table bleeds out.
