Commander: Nekusar, the Mindrazer

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Grixis wheel-and-punisher deck helmed by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The primary game plan is to force opponents to draw extra cards through wheels and symmetrical draw effects, then punish each draw with damage from Nekusar and supporting pieces like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, and Razorkin Needlehead. The deck also sports a compact thoracle backup (Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle) and a Underworld Breach/Lion's Eye Diamond/Brain Freeze line, giving it multiple independent win conditions. An exceptionally dense tutor suite, fast mana (rituals, Moxen, Mana Vault), and premium draw engines ensure the deck finds its key pieces early and can protect its turn with a powerful stack of free counterspells.
